Web 2.0 Meets Government?

http://www.csmonitor.com/2008/0425/p01s05-usgn.html

This could be wonderful (and it could be deeply boring, LOL). But if you want to reach younger citizens, YouTube is not a bad alternative.

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the conference of the Idaho Digital Learning Academy (www.IdahoDigitalLearning.org) as they are the good folks developing the IRP's online HS entrepreneurship courses.

Their keynote speaker, Marc Prensky, blew us all away. I'm hoping to get a link to the video, but he made a powerful case for how to engage students who are far more connected outside of school than in... More on that later, but these "Web 2.0" tools are so powerful [channeling Brian Critchfield, Justin Foster, et al. here] and we ignore them at out peril.

Anyway, I'd love to hear how YOU would use YouTube to help grow Idaho's economy!!!
