Tech Tools Bring Success for Small Firms

USA Today can be awfully "fluffy" but today's (Friday) paper has a nice little article by Ed Iwata on how small firms are finding the use of new technologies to be a LOT easier than they thought. Even no-tech firms USE a lot of tech & we all could get better at it. If you don't use these tools, you will be at a distinct disadvantage. No website isn't much different than no telephone.

It's not just about having an effective web presence, but all sort of interesting new things that will help you deliver better value to your customers.

Yes, you need good advice - hence Yahoo, Google & others are increasingly offering advice - and for entrepreneurs and economic develops alike, there's plenty of good advice not too far away. The linked article has a table of resources that just scratches the surface.

Anyway, I saw this and thought it nicely written and makes a good point...gently & optimistically.
